The 6186-8000 with the tall indices is pretty unique and IMHO the pinnacle of the ‘Grammer of Design’ Seiko ethos of the era.
Modern GS is probably the closest equivalent in terms of sharp lined cases and dial furniture however vintage Lordmatic/King Seiko/King Quartz/Grand Quartz are great sub £200-300 buys which share a lot of the Grammer characteristics.
