And those of working age / some factories (boohoo?) , shops etc.

I think today was the first day in a long while when I didn't have any threads in this sub-forum on my first two 'Following' pages. /csb
Let's hope COVID-19 jumps the shark sooner than later.

There was a breaking news item about an hour ago that the R rating in London is now at 1.1 but can't now find it.
-
• #14806
the R rating
Makes it sound like a PG rating!
-

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-r-number-in-the-uk
R rate between 0.8 and 1.1 in London according to the above.
-
• #14808
I can't find the source but according to https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/breaking-coronavirus-r-rate-creeps-22297302
London: 0.8-1.1, minus 4% to plus 2%
(Apparently there is an r rate for not-London but that seems improbable since there aren't real people there)
-
• #14809
I think there are real people there, just not LondonRs.

45k dead and boris says on the radio that he thinks “we” have done ok! Wtf
-
• #14811
It's a lot more than 45k dead if you look at excess deaths.
-
• #14812
Yes everyone knows that apart from some dumb selective hearing asses who dont listen or want to know.
-
• #14813
55k according to the last Reuters estimate

I haven't been keeping up with their stuff but this is pretty damning

Yes everyone knows that apart from some dumb deaf asses.
....

Actually you are totally correct . Politicians who have selective hearing would be a better description.

I cycled past Borough Markt today, all the pubs absolutely rammed and as a bonus everybody
was standing extra close together under the available roofs because it was raining. Streams of piss
on the footpath every few meters. -

Think of the boost to the ee-con-o-me though. All those spends.

I wonder if we will get the second wave among young people like they are seeing in the US right now.
-

Just me and two others in the queue for a haircut. Quite surprised, thought I'd be here forever

At 9 in the morning after people having a piss up last night?

08:30, get it right.
Found out that the Half Moon is one of the 27 Fullers pubs opening up, I'm kind of expecting chaos. I'll stick to Thai food and quiz night...

I've just realised that we (as a forum) have missed an obvious opportunity to hold a GSIAD today.
What have we become, LFGSS?

Sober?
Surely it can’t be that difficult to compile a data set in this day and age with all the necessary variables.
