Nice. Had one of those Hamiltons on my 'kind of want' list.

I'm in the very same boat in terms of the top 2 'luxury' watches for me.
I do like the idea of buying a Pelagos LHD brand new having never owned a luxury watch.
I'd be a 1985 on the Moonwatch though.

Thanks Joe
I've shrunk it for you. Check it again. Should now be to your liking.

They vary, annoyingly. Do you have any you can remove from the spare links?
You can probably source spares but I have no idea what the part number you’d want is.

AND.....
I've lost the damn collars....
How do i find a replacement? Which collar does my Seiko use?
@Stonehedge @Regal
Anyone with knowledge of seikos and their damn collar pin system....Further to this, i have found Cousins UK
Also found the collars are called tubes.
Anyone have an idea what size mine would be? I really only want the one i need rather than a mixed bag.

Seiko bracelets have two diferent size of tube. There's the Type C and Type P from memory.
I think the Type C have a split along their length so they can expand and the Type P are in the form of a manifold tube. You probably have Type C but its easy to check.
Just give Seiko Service Center a call and they should sort you out https://www.seikowatches.com/uk-en/contact/servicecenter

I think that was the one I was looking at, wouldn't try larger than that for me.

The new 40mm case does actually have a larger crystal as it press fits into that low profile bezel unlike the SKX series where the crystal is press fit into the case.
I want to get one but I’m waiting for modders to play around with theirs so I know what double dome sapphires are on the market.

Its a lovely watch if youre wondering. Doesnt sit high for a chrono. Its well thought out, proportions are great... Date window is at the 6, its in black like the face. Its not a clinical white. Lovely pushers, lovely shape, that have a solid click without being impossible. Even has a quick date function button on the side. There isnt an annoying abundance of text on the dial.
and its not a diver.

Really pleased with this Erika strap that just came in the post. Have the Oris BC3 but never got on with rubber straps or steel bracelets. As one of those people who wear watches on the inside I asked them to flip the buckle before engraving. :)
I liked the BC3 for its size, simplicity, date, day and the fact it actually had a three on it.
Also have a Seiko 5 Sports with a EULIT strap.

This should have been a thursday post, and apologies if its a re, but this might be of interest if you've not seen it.
Check the spec for what he's done.

You might be able to find a suitable bezel to swap it with?
-
• #45947
Have looked, can't see anything with the model, was thinking nitromors.
-
• #45948
If you know the dimensions, you could probably use another Seiko bezel right?
-

Really need to talk to someone who is on the case with Seiko modding. I haven't a clue.
That model would look fine with a plain bezel but it didn't seem to marry-up with offerings on any site and the bezels I saw didn't have published dimensions.
