Getting back into bagmaking, they're mostly ripoffs still but with so much being done it seems impossible to be original. First up is a matching set of bags for a friend, will be doing an Outer Shell drawcord bag, a half framebag and a Wizard Works Shazam / Dyed In The Wool XL Bar Bag (which is a pretty blatant Shazam rip-off for as far as I can see) combination with the addition of two dowels for more stability. All out of white X-pac.
Striving for better quality I've planned them out properly before getting to work instead of figuring things out after cutting the fabrics.
He's also been stress testing a bagel bag of mine, which is holding up perfectly except for the cheap zipper. Will only be using YKK going forward, ordered a bunch of cheap zippers for prototyping when I was using cheap fabrics but it's a waste of materials to use them when moving to the nicer fabrics. Will be replacing the zipper and I want rework it into something like a Hungry LCM.

Would you think of making me one? Really like that fabric on my dads old rucksack and the bigger size seems very useful!
Might be nice to use it to practice a bit...

Oh sorry, missed this. Plenty of practice with orders from friends and family, couple months behind on things actually. So not in the foreseeable future, I'm afraid. Sorry!

I feel obliged to say that I did not order those patches myself.

It's ok, don't be embarrassed.

If it makes you feel better, my hair is about the same length as that now.
I was obviously just jealous, I see that now.

Bar bag is in progress. I've been really impressed with my mum's old sewing machine, it went through three layers of webbing without issues, and the finishing stitch at the flap with 6 layers of fabric + thick webbing wasn't a problem either.
The dowel catches were quite tricky on this one and turned out a bit wonky, but all in all I'm really happy with the bags I'm making now. I've made huge progress over the last months, both in designing (or rather copying features) and the sewing itself.

Will most likely need to - nice totes by the way!
Just trying to find a UK supplier with some colour options - I'll probably start out with cordura just for some practice :)

Good job Tijminator
Do not want.
I'll have to have a look for one. The face spray from the Inbred on the road was a PITA.
