Would you like it if someone did that to you? :-) You take the risk of eBay auctions, you take the risk of not getting what you want. You're selling at a time when people are getting rid of unnecessary possessions. It's a buyers market in terms of watches. On the contrary, it's a sellers market regarding bicycles because there's a shortage globally. There's no watch shortage.

Top tip with eBay, set the reserve to the lowest price you’re willing to sell for and this won’t happen.

Re: this Dawn Grey Samurai I popped on eBay – it just sold for £433, quite a bit lower than what I was expecting. Worth cancelling and greedily hoping to sell later, or take a small profit with a favourable £1 fee, you'd say?
