  • So you could call it inverted splatter and call it a feature? Also bike output/children=amazing

  • Orange bottles on grey frames look ace.

(You know what happened to this frame.)

  • Got the Tiny Lightning back from powder.
Not the nicest painted bike I have ever seen but it is cheap.

  • I didn't think I'd like the colour but I do like the colour. Very nice.

  • The head badge looks pure class painted over like that imo.

  • Thanks. I was going to sand off the paint and have the stainless shine. But I am not sure now.

  • Curry rack

  • That colour is great

  • Looks good.
Are those Spesh Roubaix Pro tyres? 30/32? If so, any chance you could measure actual width for me?

  • Yes they are and yes I will. But I remember them as pretty much 32mm.
The 30mm is a weird why of talking about contact to tarmac and that they are fast. It just confused people

  • Curry rack is looking good! Kinda reminds me of August Bicycles' porteur bike.

  • That’s really nice, I think my kid need one.....

  • wow! so good!

  • Thanks guys. I just need to clean and regrease the last wheel, then I'll take some proper photos.

  • I know it's Denmark and flat and all. But if you live on a hill (like myself) I'd be inclined to put a brake on there at some point. Not sure if I could teach my daughter to use a brake at this point (2 y/o) but damn she bombing down the hill on her kick bike… And I'm guessing she will be on her balance bike as soon as she starts picking it as her preferred mode of transportation :•)

  • not having a brake means they learn about using their legs/feet for control; essential for learning about control, you become the pilot not a passenger

Its scary but, crashing is good! making mistakes is good! mistakes/crashing = learning

  • Yeah I think I am ok with some crashing like R.hobbs is suggesting.

  • Looks ace.

No brake to start with, but recommend sticking one on 6 months before their first pedal bike.

Pedal bikes are quick, and without their feet on the ground, they need to use the brake. It's much easier to learn to use the pedals when they are not also learning how to use the brake for the first time.

We used to to do an emergency stop game. I sit on a bench and the little one does laps, everytime they come past, I shout that some poor creature has strode out into the path (badger/hedgehog/flamingo etc) and they need to jam the anchors on to stop. Kids seemed to love it and I got to sit on the bench, so win win.

  • Perfect! Thanks mate. We'll do that for sure :)

  • I haven't done much lately but managed to check alignment on my flatmount bosses for Aderklint's frame and I've cut seattube to length.

  • lookin good! how did you line up the mitres for the flat mount posts? ive only used dropouts with integrated mounts but they are a bit ugly. would like to do as you have at some point

  • I used a milling machine. Found my datum using an edge finder and milled slots using a 16mm end mill.
