So close yet so far!
I was hoping to have everything ready for this weekend, the bottom bracket is installed, forks have been cut down, I've routed the cables but I've hit some snags.
The first problem is the rear wheel, I foolishly assumed I could simply swap the axle out on my crossride wheel set. Managed to get the old axle out but it seems that in order to run a 12mm through axle Im going to have to replace the drive side bearings. Luckily my flat mate has a spare set of hunt gravel wheels I can borrow until I can get the mavics sorted.
The second issue is brakes. I'm using the disc brakes from the Dolan which is a post mount frame, the Trek is flat mount. I bought some TRP flat mount to post mount adapters but the bolts are not long enough to go through the calliper mount on the the frame. Going to have to go back to my LBS tomorrow and hope they have the bits I need.
