That's what the avocado eating classes would say :P
IKEA was mad busy as well when it re-opened, well, each to their own I guess.

Fucking condescending middle class twats. Not everyone can shop online.

Personally I panic-bought Friends pyjamas in March and haven’t looked back. Very soft, folds really well.

My GF got an email from nuffield health extolling all the great measures in place now for reopening.
she says the photos looked very much like they've just put some stickers down and put out hand sanitiser and is now considering cancelling the contract until it is actually safe to go again.

I see from the Sky news OB live from Selfridges that the British public cannot be trusted to stay 30cm away from each other in a beauty hall

That’s generally the case isn’t it?

Not sure about elsewhere, but on my lunch run spotted 5 in 10 people wearing masks on buses.

Local river & woods paths were pretty much deserted for the first time since lockdown.

Sounds wanting, given how people are mixing more now.

I'd love to get back in the gym too.
Problem is I don't think gyms will resemble anything like they were before. -

The pool is what I seem to be missing most. Haven't missed the bike at all (I've done a single 1 mile ride since March 13th). I've no swim fitness at all and I've got a 2 mile OW swim in September and a 10k pool swim in November.
Some news from Swim England here (via a MarathonSwims tweet).

Traffic’s back to normal! I’m actually 10 minutes late to work now.

Our gym was already handing out lots of hand sanitizer, and it has lots of space. I think they can make the 2 meters happen, and then we just have to wear a mask maybe?
I've no idea how you can make the showers covid safe though...I guess we just need to wash at home?

There is no chance swimmers will be that disciplined in a public session.
Getting long sessions in will also be tricky, Better seem to be planning 1 hour reception to reception sessions.

Working out in a mask? I cant wait to hit the squat rack again but if thats going to be the norm, no thanks....2m in a gym is going to impossible to police.

What's the point in staying 2m away from people in the gym when the sole purpose of going to the gym means the entire time you're there, you're touching handles and bars that every single other person there has also touched.

The showers will be a no go - I've received emails along that line too.
My gym have already said they'll be limiting weights too.
I have to say I'd really like to go back to my gym, its probably the thing I miss the most.
