I’m pretty sure he worked out it was a great way to bolster his nationalist identity, become leader of the Conservatives and now prime minister.

Not particularly but wishful thinking that it is I'd like to hope that one day I'll find out something about him that doesn't re- enforce what a cunt he is. Call me naive but I like to think that even the most odious people have some redeeming quality.

Boris has some explaining to do. Someone brings up a column he wrote in 2002 states Britain's colonialism in Africa shouldn't have ended and dismisses Britain role in the slave trade.. Given that he's supposedly a smart guy he should have worked out that if you spend years writing opinion pieces that are liberally sprinkled with dog whistle racism it will come back to bite you.
