Friday and new watch day; first time I properly treated myself. (Left the protective plastic on the strap because I'm going to change it to one of those Fakerika straps).

I've gone back to the leather and put the Barton on the Squale for now, reckon it looks better on that. Nice to have options though.

Yeah no worries, suits the Squale. I just had another two show up because they resent the order so I’m sorted for a while. Although B&R have a 20% Father’s Day code (Barton sent a 15% too)....

Thanks! I know what you mean, but these elastic straps are just so comfortable. Will post a few more pics when I changed it over. I'm thinking khaki with white stripe.

Cheers, and such good value in vintage terms - what other fantastic condition 1971 Omega can you pick up for £300? Admittedly a forum bargain but still.

D1 Milano. It’s doing a semi good job of tickling my Royal Oak itch. In total dreamland I’d have one in stainless and then one in gold too, but unless I hit the lottery that’s not happening.

This is cheap and fun though. They’ve started upping the spec a bit now so when they bring out their auto version with sapphire crystal in stainless I might get that too.
