I know some people swear by it, but I’ve struggled to get as good a cup of coffee out of the Aeropress as the V60. Like-for-like, I always get a stronger, fuller tasting cup out of the V60. I have to use far more coffee in the Aeropress to get close and even then it tastes a bit empty in comparison. I don’t think I’d waste coffee experimenting, if I’m honest.
I agree with you. Aeropress can be very convenient but for me, it can be wildly inconsistent and even at its best, not as good as v60. I like that I own one for the flexibility it has, but I'll never use it as my daily driver again.
