I didn't mean to hint that it was in Ruislip! It's just that the pub has been the venue for Wests a couple of times.

@moorhen and I rode along the Thames path as far as Brentford convinced it was on the North bank, looking at the foliage on the opposite bank. (We even called @ffm out of frustration but he rightly didn't pick up)
We were planning to cycle further tomorrow, to Ruislip (after Oliver's hint)
