  • I've been umming and ahhing over a new watch for a while kinda to mark taking the plunge into a new industry and being taken on full time doing something I like and is useful.

This seiko has been staring at me for ages but not sure if I love it for £750 . Also kinda wonder if it will look rubbish as soon as it gets a scratch on the black body, whereas others will take inevitable wear a bit better?

    Other thoughts have been:
    Hamilton Kakhi Field
    Smiths Everest
    Laco Aachen, maybe

Yeah I know they are all very different watches but, I'm not searching for a specific type, more like a nice everyday watch to be worn when I'm not wearing my dress watch

  • I have a Laco Altenberg and don't wear it every day, I'm a bit rough with watches the B-Uhr crystal always looks too delicate and unprotected to risk.
