I just use the one built into my IMac, which is from 2015, so I'm guessing it's not that fast, so I don't think you need anything crazy.
My raw files tend to be around 57mb on average. What I wanted to ask is what do people recommend for viewing RAF extension flies without having to import them. When I had the XT3 I could view them in Finder but now it just loads for ever and I don't want to import loads of files into Lightroom if I don't need to.

Anyone fancy swapping a Thinktank Retrospective 30 for one of the smaller Thinktank bags? I’ve downsized cameras and don’t really need the space in the bag anymore

On the verge of selling my X-T3 with 18-55 "kit" lens. But I can't find the box anywhere. All hope is not yet gone, gonna have another proper rummage later. What % hit will that be on sale price? I have receipt (email). Condition is pretty much mint.

What sort of budget as there's a vast amount of prices depending on condition?
-
• #2411
Not really sure on this one.

I’m looking for second hand decent condition, no issues with a few marks from general use, but clean glass. Budget is around £450/£470.
Don’t have the coin to be paying in excess of £550 -

Anyone got a 35mm F2 they are looking to move on? Many thanks.
-
• #2414
unless weather resistence is a big selling point, consider the XC35mm f2. Most reviews say that optically it's basically the same.

• #2415
Thanks. Yeah I have considered that, just intending to use it to travel so wasn't sure about dust protection but probably fine 99% time any way.

Where can I send an A6300 to be repaired?
And a SEL1670Z? (Not sure whether the issue lies in body or lens and only have one e-mount lens left so can't test easily).Want to clear some space and sell them but needs repair and a clean bill of health first.

Warranty? Or too late?

I've seen a fair bit of talk recently about using a DSLR as a webcam. Does this kind of use have any impact on the camera life?
-

Nah, don't think so - 3 years old I guess?

Took receipt of an Amazon Basics Monopod today. Been meaning to try one for the big lens for ages after handholding and not wanting to carry a tripod everywhere.
For £15 it’s pretty good quality. Tried it out in the garden and pretty impressed with the results. Very easy to handle and very light. Easy to leave on the foot when carrying the lens too. Will take it to a local spot later to try ‘in the wild’.
Anyone else tried one?

What, focusing wise?? If that's what you mean, there's 7 years between them it will be a completely different class. Also focusing can depend on the lens involved. I have an XT4 and many say that it's ability to focus using older lenses like the 35mm 1.4 is much faster. There's reviews stating this as well. Can't speak for the models you mentioned but would assume that as the XPro3 is so new the improvements regarding firmware for focusing are probably quite similar and much improved.

Yes exactly that. I’m used to dslr focus so the xe-1 was a massive disappointment for me as I kept missing shots when it hunted for focus.
It also struggled with rendering greens in trees but looking at example photos from the xpro3 that seems fixed.

Pulled the trigger on a xpro3 today. Spoke to the shop and they're happy for me to unpack it and use the camera for a bit and as long as I'm careful it's fine to return it for a full refund. Pretty excited to get a new camera, been ages!

Thats super nice of them! Sure it'll be great! What lens do you have? Im thinking of getting an XE-3 and a 35mm F2, for a light travel don't mind if it gets a bit battered type camera.
Ignore that, turns out I can just do this...
