Thats a respectful thing to do. Well done. They are feral pests, but I love them and respect what they do. Used to get one coming in the garden quite often. Its a real privilege for sure. It even stuck its head through the dog flap to have a sniff. My staffy (avatar pic) was a right timid thing and proper shat herself!
