  • I'm well aware of this thread but I can easily see myself ordering from them in a fit of confusion. You can't help me.

  • I too had a disappointing experience with velodrome shop recently i ordered a plain black anodized 31.8 straight flat bar but i received 26 mm azonic branded bar and a shim the bar was 100 mm wider than described had a considerable backsweep and heavily branded as well as being the wrong diameter i suppose it was black and a handlebar but the similarities between what I received vs the picture and description end there. I did get a refund after a couple of weeks but i won't be using them again either.

  • I might order something to see what turns up. Sounds exciting

  • I think it's fair to say most people are on classifieds and on trust pilot the reviews seem more positive with a few outstanding negative ones.

    Maybe moving this to classifieds rather than in general might help.

    Anyways lesson learnt. Just purchased everything again via condor and wiggle and it's all here now ( purchased on Monday) via royal mail 24.

    Positive as in "I was surprised they weren't more shit given how many other reviewers say they're shit". Due diligence involves getting past the first page on google and reading the content of reviews, not just the number of stars. Some of the positives which are inflating the average seem very bot-like too

    To be honest, I never even got as far as investigating velodromeshop; they came up in searches when I was shopping, and there was enough on their own page to make me not want to touch them with a ten foot pole.

  • trustpilot..when i worked for a computer sales company we were offered good reviews.. at a price.. and now i dont tend to shop anywhere that advertises itself as 'trustpilot 5 star wholesome goodness'

  • Finally got the package. but with bits missing and words 'to follow' on the invoice...

    bought a fair amount of cheap bits totaling £45 I don't know whether to bother with asking for a refund as who knows how long that'll take. Might that this as a lesson learnt...

  • Gave it 6 more days , Emailed about those missing items.

    This is what I got:

    I am very sorry that the Weldtite items were not sent, due to the impact of COVID-19 our stock delivery for this item has been delayed. It is expected before the end of June but no specific date can be provided sorry. We can refund the item today if you prefer?

    Once I get a refund for those items I'll leave a negative review on trustpiliot.
