No worries.

Broke the OG strap on my Garmin watch so bought a £8 NATO to replace it. It's decent but the rings are too big IMO.
Anyway, it works again now. Not much I can do about the huge crack in the screen though.

I've found a downside to the moody Erika, the amount of stretch combined with the relatively heavy Seiko means it hits in to my wrist when cycling over bumps and over a few hours that starts to hurt.

Buy bigger wrists.

I did 90k today in a legit Erika and didn't suffer that, but I was wearing BB58 so maybe lighter??

BB58
Isn't that titanium? My Seiko 5 is a tank.

Nah, steel but it's small and thin

One issue I’ve had with a real MN is that the bezel on the Squale has a very heavy 60-click action and the stretchiness means it twists on the wrist when I try to use it.

Bought before they ran out. Sitting NOS in the cupboard now. The build on it is beautiful, lovely tapered back and sides, much nicer than I remember Seikos being. Still can't find anything that sits better than my 14060m though.. Possibly a beaut of an Omega coming if I can persuade the owner to sell ;)

Thanks man. The finish surprised me, way better than expected. Not cheap but the quality is fantastic. T

That is very nice. I'd be happy to own one.

Dadwatch search for nice but not at all pricey day/date quartz daily ended up here. With an automatic.
Easy to read? Looks it. 42mm so not too big, not too small. Should survive being smashed about in the garden. Smart enough for socialising and wallet friendly £s.
He would have had kittens if I had spent proper money on that Certina even though it struck me as fair value. Whilst the quartz numbers we found met the bill there was always something a little off about them so opened it up to automatics and this popped up. I think it's OK.

Did you post up prices for these? More than likely out of my price bracket but both are very nice.
-
• #44742
Hey no I didn’t. I was trying to find all the receipts for when they were serviced, but can’t find them.
Pop me a pm if you’re seriously interested, and if you research some going rates on ebay you can lowball me with evidence to back it up ;)

Anyone want a Seagull 1963 mechanical watch? Condition is worn with a bit of light stratch on glass, no boxes etc.
Lovely watch. Just not gonna get worn.
£100?

What size is it? Is it fully functional? Handwound?
Interested! -

Handwound, acrylic glass (easier to buff out the scratches), come with original NATO strap.
I wound it today and working perfectly but too early to says if it kept perfect time (it did 5 years ago).

Would anyone ever buy a £10k+ watch on eBay
That’s what I thought. Bum :(
