I think there is not much difference in braking power mainly because the bike weighs a lot
I do think they look much better personally, and as @Lolo says, they're now period correct!
As @amey says your front brake cable setup is, er, sub optimal. That kink will be reducing braking power for sure. I think get the setup right and you'll be happy with their performance!
Out of interest, how much does the bike weigh? My Colnago is 8.6kg with the current wheels but as you know I'm planning to upgrade :)
Bike update:
DA-7402 has a massive changed with the new brake pads upgrades, but massive thanks to @Fox for hand delivering me a set of DA-7403 dual pivot brakes for the road bike.
I’m still sceptical on the looks/design of the brake, as in my eyes the the radical design of the 7402 suits the bike much better. But there is no denying that the 7403 performs much better. Function over form as they say.
I think there is not much difference in braking power mainly because the bike weighs a lot or maybe it my weight. But the when you release the lever you definitely feel the braking pivot and I guess that gives you a lot more confidence psychologically when riding.
