Wanted: Beater 700c fixed rear wheel

Looking for a beater fixed rear wheel for my commuter - around £50 & sliver would be ideal if possible! Am based in SE4 so local would be good but will travel if needs be.

Hey, just had a rummage, thought I had a condor fixed hub in a damaged rim I was going to offer to rebuild into a rim I have doing nothing... turns out I chucked the whole wheel in fit of ‘aaarg I have too much old stuff everywhere’. Annoying cos the hub was fine ... meh.

If you can find yourself a cheap fixed hub with 36 holes I could build you what you need, the rim is a Sputnik so not the lightest but a good strong commuter job, takes 28c and above tyres nicely. Have plenty of spokes knocking about I can use.

I’m in se4 too, keen to build more wheels as I’m jobless. Hit me up if this convoluted offer is any help. Have either silver & black sputniks 36h I could do with shifting, so if you find a silver or black hub you could at least stay matchy. Cheers

@HarryK I am based in Bristol but have a good few fair / usable wheels / sets ... would most likely have to be posted but I would ask little money.

I service my / my son's wheels and they are all 'good enough' but might require re-greasing - if you cannot do it I could but would have to charge a bit more to cover that .

Price would be like £30 for the delivered set depending on state and condition / might be more or less ...

I have a leftover wheelset in the attic if you are not allergic to white.
