  • I don't think any route planner is totally infallible. RWGPS is pretty good, but it still took me down a footpath in Swanley that was bookended with enormous concrete blocks, and featured more burnt out cars and flytipping than I've ever seen in one place

    That might just be what Swanley looks like normally though

    On my way back from doing Angliru, RWGPS decided that this would be a nice route to take. That's with the 'avoid unpaved roads' box ticked. You can't really tell from the photo, but it was about a 25% gradient.

  • Yeah, not sure you can blame rwgps for the shiteness of Swanley public paths.

    Most of them are like that, it's part of the "charm" of the area.
