PhilDAS got it in one. BMX bars should get the grips up right about where they want to be.
I may also make a custom bar at some point, I have some 22.2mm tubing left over from making the rack for the cycletruck.

Oh and I got started on the fork today too.
Not sure whether to go biplane with some plate material or segmented with tubing.
Probably segmented.
The donor fork was a Kona Jump fork that came with my Humuhumu. It did have much tyre clearance due to the shape of the legs and I tried stick welding a disc tab to it ages ago and cocked it up so took the angle grinder to them today.

Excellent! Wtf are you going to do about fork/steerer/bars? Or just get used to a very aero riding position?
