I have mixed feelings about it. Guess it's probably a nice intro race for people looking for long stuff in a cycling-friendly country but it's not actually nice on a lot of the bike paths and I had my own issues mostly brought on by lack of research, complacency which means I'm a little bit meh about how the race panned out for me. But that's not a reflection of the race itself. It's probably the only even in the ultra calendar I could actually win yet I don't want to go back because I'd rather lose and see some awesome stuff than drive myself into the ground around the Netherlands again. There are some funky sights but don't underestimate the weather, realise that the Netherlands at race pace is nothing like touring it and the route conveniently misses a lot of towns so fueling if you've not investigated this stuff beforehand is a ballache. It was underfueling that fucked my race up.
Personally I'm not looking at any races because what's the point? We don't even know if they'll be running or if we can travel to them yet.

Waiting to hear if All Points North is going to be on in September but in case it's not I've been looking at over events. Like the look of Transiberica but think too much climbing for me. @hippy Didn't you do Race around the Netherlands? What did you make of it? Endless bike paths don't sound that appealing...
