  • Downloaded GTA V on PC. Haven't played it since Xbox 360 in 2013. Wow, it's stood the test of time well. On PC it's like a totally different game with everything maxed out. The city is like a proper living breathing thing. Having a lot of fun replaying the story. Driving on a keyboard isn't actually bad at all either....

  • I used to have it on PS4 so when I sold that I bought it on PC. It has stood the test of time really well, in fact I only got bored of playing it recently. By then I'd literally been everywhere and done everything. But I wouldn't uninstall it even now.

I actually bought GTA IV the other week having never played it and am playing my way through that. It's not as sophisticated but the storyline is great and although the missions start out very easy the difficulty seems to ramp up quite quickly based on the mission I just played. I don't know why I didn't think of buying it before.

The graphics are obviously not on a par with V but with everything maxed out I've actually been surprised at how good they are so far.

    p.s. your relative on Strava thinks I'm a 5G Covid nutter 😂

p.p.s The irony of you playing GTA V when you actually live there got me like...

  • It really has stood the test of time. Kinda crazy to think it came out in 2013. I still play it now.

Never really got into the online thing and disappointed it took away the possibility of any single player DLC.

Pining for GTA 6 now but have to admit I’m a little worried about what it could be. Some big names have left rockstar recently and there was controversy about their working culture. I just hope that it was all written before Leslie Benzies left. Hopefully single player doesn’t get compromised for online.

I imagine a fair amount of people here will be picking up Watch Dogs Legion!

When I first moved to London I picked up The Getaway so I could get a better idea of the layout of central London.

  • That was absolutely part of the reason I bought it. Figuring out how they've adapted real life Los Angeles County and it's surrounding areas is really interesting to see when you live here.

Re Strava - she was definitely talking about me being a nutter. She goes on 15km jaunts along the Thames and thinks that's a big ride, so a 100km ride with 2500m to her makes no sense at all.

Re GTA IV, yeah, I mean I was still in secondary school when that came out. Really is an old game now.
