Phew, did my first bit of mtb-ing this year today. Out of shape. Just some local trails and hills, first time ever using suspension forks - certainly easier on the elbows. Discovered the very basic shimano brakes I've had for a few years probably need bleeding and a longer front hose but can't be arsed and felt like upgrade time anyway so got some deore ones inbound. I realise deore is probably not an upgrade to most people in this thread :-)
