Hey there.
The SON cable is 3mm in diameter and can be tricky to route through vent holes on fork, You may want to measure these on your VO fork. A trick I use it to use floss first and suck through with a vacuum and then lash this to the cable and pull through. I
The coaxial junction box is a neat solution and works well and yes putting the male coaxial connector on the end is a good option. I guess this is one of the original Igaros?
If you don't go with the junction box you can make a basic y shaped version with banana connectors and the wire you decide to use, this will allow a spur to go off to the igaro and a spur off to your front light. This can be at the top of your fork leg.
I will be swapping stuff from my basic randonneur frame to my less basic Velo-Orange one soon.
Hopefully routing the cable through the fork leg using existing holes will work.
Question 1: Anynone know if the good looking Son cable is less nice to fiddle trough stuff?
Question 2: I have a Sp Hub, iQ-X and will put an Igaro charger somewhere.
Will need to solder stuff anyway bc I won't be able to have 2 cables (light and Igaro) going to the hub. And the cable on the front light is too short anyway.
Igaro needs to be fixed anyway because I ripped one of the usb things off, so could ask them to put a son plug instead of the screw type I guess.
So, anyone used this Son Coaxial Junction box?
Is it worth the hassle?
