Was this with the black handle down to lock the lid, or were you cavalier enough to put it out unlocked? Suppose the foxes might know how to unlock it.
Also, coming up to that time, do I put the bins out now for Monday morning, would literally take 5 minutes, or live life on the ragged edge and hope I have enough time to do it tomorrow morning...

No idea, I think she who does not do the bins was the last to deposit something within. I've carefully avoided administering any blame during this period of generally heightened household tension.

I was worried I wouldn't have enough anecdotes to help keep this thread rolling, but I shouldn't have.
We put our food waste bin out the front a day early, as its spot out the back means it cooks in the sun and stinks.
Unfortunately for us, but fortunately for your schadenfreude tinged pleasure, the foxes had at it last night. Good bin night thread content though, so there's that.
