First impressions (from an extremely gentle pootle round the local woods) are that it is a serious weapon. Last mtb I rode was a GT Lobo when I was racing downhill at about 17 years old. This bike seems to fly over rough stuff better than that DH set-up! Amazing how much geometry has changed in 15ish years.
The 27.5 wheels feel enormous. Can’t imagine what 29 must be like. I’m sure I’ll get used to it pretty quick but feels very alien to the 26 of old. The 780mm bars alone make an incredible difference to the skinny bars we used to run on full downhill set-ups not long ago!
Super excited for the lockdown to be over so I can put it through its paces.
