Stupidly bought brakes from singlespeed mtb from Euro land and forgot the levers would be reversed.
Anyone got advice on swapping the lines between calipers or levers without losing any fluid / needing to bleed again?
Often they can be swapped with no issues, and fluid loss means a bleed I'd assume
I've swapped / trimmed them at the leaver end. Fluid is more likely to escape from the leaver compared to the hose so try to keep that pointing above the horizontal. Might need new olives, might not. Do you feel lucky?
I've done it on hope and shimano breaks with no bleed. Do it at the lever end and as Howard says keep it horizontally.
