Also, I've started a 35x700c plus mudguards all road / rando thing.
2x11 etap, 12mm thru axle and flatmount brakes.

The guy I am building the bike for has done all his geometry drawing himself. Makes it pretty easy to work with.

Am I reading 75 degree seat tube correctly?
-
• #3581
That's a rather unusual way of measuring stack and reach.

Makes sense though, in that it is adjusted for the final position of the rider once the stem is fitted. I have a spreadsheet somewhere across bikes i have owned that adjust stack and reach taking into account spacers, stem length and angle.

Yes, took me some time get the 3d model right as well, but I don't mind now.

Geometry is based on a bike fit.
The rider already owns one of my old bikes and knows exactly what he wants instead :) -

It’s actually stack+ and reach+
As that’s ultimately the contact point for your hands it seemed logical somehow to use it in the drawing. But sure, it’s more of a bike fit measurement than one used for frame building. -
• #3586
Yes, that’s correct!
I’ve got a pretty far forward position as is. It will hopefully work like a charm once I put some tt-bars on it -

Nice. Looks fun. I look forward to seeing the bike.

Lucky guy! Are you going to run a 140mm stem?
-
• #3589
Indeed on both accounts!

This is going to be such a rad bike @Aderklint

So it is. I really do need to wear my glasses more often.

Oh yeah. So I am making the bike for @Aderklint :)
He owns my old rando, but build up very differently

I am not much for sitting down on a couch and watching telly. My workshop is 200m down the road so I am always itching to leave the house. But sometimes you just have to stay in and relax and hang out. At moments like this it is nice to have wheel building. Thanks wheel building!
Wheels are White Industries front hub and Novatec rear. Spokes are DT Swiss Revolution and the rims are Mavic A319.
They are going on my all road bike which needs a loving hand. Used to look like this:

I made a new chainstay mitre jig yesterday.
Have some ideas on how to improve it, but I used available parts and materials for now.
