Yes, the ends are threaded and there’s set of different sized pins that screw in. I got it for an obscure job on an obscure Citroen that I don’t have any more and I don’t think I’ve ever used it for anything else! It’s chunky but it can’t do bucketloads of torque.
Edit: actually, that’s probably not fair. The only things I’ve used it on that needed loads of torque have been jobs it wasn’t designed for i.e. this and the lock rings on 2CV rear drums.
Cool tool! Never seen it before and just googled it.... Did you only ruin the pins, which I imagine are replaceable?
