Had a change of direction on the Kona Fire Mountain project. Was always going to be a drop bar tourer but it was one project too many and I’ve finally admitted I’m not going to be touring for a long time with the kids. So I gave that away to @platypus ’s lovely friend who promised to give it the attention it deserves.
Now I’m the market for a non-project hardtail MTB. My only rides outside these days are races or short (1hr ish) blasts (covid lockdown aside) and there are some great woods around here to have fun in so makes more sense than a tourer.
