Sweet, I'm sure you'll use it all the time now. :)

What's the deal with Deya? I see it mentioned on here a lot and get a lot of emails about it from All Good Beer, including one today saying it was restocked, less than an hour ago, and I can see that it's almost all sold out by now - https://allgoodbeer.co.uk/collections/deya-brewing-company
Is it just generally brilliant?

Northern Monk - Stars and Stripes
Peanut Butter and Jelly Porter.
From TescoSupposed to be a peanut butter and jam flavoured beer. It's got a strong hit of raspberry, not as sweet as you woild think.
Can't detect any peanut. -

They do a lot of Vermont, DDH, "hazy", whatever you want to call it pales and IPAs which are on trend now. They do them quite well.

You can tell it's not my order because it's all basically water. :P
The nitro espresso is great. There was one in their AGM box. I also got that discount code even though I didn't think my beers were late. I mean, they arrived before the AGM which was the point.

Took a bit of a chance on the Duopolis - any good?

I have a mate at BD btw, and I don't like going to the shops.

I liked it on draught at BD Clerkenwell but it was the end of a session and to be honest it probably didn't matter by then. Had it at Shebu and the missus liked it as it didn't taste like vomit compared to other IPAs. Last time I had it I wrote 'lighter version of Stratospheric'. I'm less of a fan of it in the cans but it was up against some proper hitters so it's not a fair comparison. I'm basically trying to get as drunk as possible in the fastest time with the nicest beer - it's not like I'm spending 8 hours drinking with mates in a park where an a session beer will be the go to.

You don't have to justify your BD habits to me. I love how they're the brewery to hate these days.
I don't give a fuck, they make some decent beer, sell some decent beer from others and do some decent things and it's pretty competitively priced. It's just fucking beer innit.
Oh and their bars aren't full TVs or dickheads. -

They are seen as the Coke of craft aren't they? I like the beers though.
Re: getting as drunk as quick as possible, I know what you mean. Got 48 cans from Five Points, half XPA, half Jupa. XPA (4%) was always my go-to in their pub, a pint of Jupa if I wanted to go mad (5.6%). In lockdown I'm much more drawn to a couple of Jupa rather than a whole afternoon of XPA. Easier on the recycling bin too.

Ok, cracked another Duo. Nice creamy mouthfeel, not very bitter. It's alright actually. Probably why I gave it a 3, which is above average for me. I think when I typed the above it was the Hazy Jane I was thinking about - I was more disappointed with that out of the can after having pints of it for lunch in Camden when they were testing Punk X. The OG Hazy and Triple Hazy are much more my style but this Duo is quite nice.

Gah! I got loads of Hazy Jane too!
The fresh 9% stuff sounded great, but not really suited to stock piling.
-
• #8498
I've still got two cans of it. I think I might kill them off now.

I'm working on way through my stocks of Guinness and some stout barrel aged Jameson whiskey.
