Lord Sugar later tweeted to say that he believed his earlier tweet to be “fake news”, but defended his decision to share it. He wrote: “I just passed it on. I didn’t write it.”
That's how spreading fake stuff works. You git.

From what I read, they think, based on existing Corona viruses acquired immunity is about 2 years.
IF you mount a proper immune response. So is that good enough to reopen with no vaccine, especially as you need lots of people to get sick before you hit herd immunity?
Don't know :)

Precisely.
Still small blessings, in a parallel Universe the NHS is dependent upon Amstrad ventilators. -

Hah!
But you'd be surprised about the software that is used, some of it is still running Win95 and older cos manufacturers cannot be bothered to keep supporting old kit.

Sounds like he told his superiors what he was doing and they said unlikely to be a conflict...lol, wonder if he has that in writing.

I remember Vitamin D is quite a popular topic in this thread:
Results revealed that majority of the death cases were male and older and had pre-existing condition and below normal Vitamin D serum level. Univariate analysis revealed that older and male cases with pre-existing condition and below normal Vitamin D levels were associated with increasing odds of death. When controlling for age, sex, and comorbidity, Vitamin D status is strongly associated with COVID-19 mortality outcome of cases.

But it is not yet clear what the biggest factor is.

To no-one's surprise, it's hitting poorer areas hardest:

It is now. At the start of the outbreak the boroughs' with the highest rates were Westminster, Lambeth, and Southwark, but it looks like it's now affecting the more deprived borough and wards hardest. Bear in mind that the old model of inner London equals deprivation no longer holds.
One other point, care and nursing home beds aren't equally distributed across the boroughs. Some have a much higher numbers than others. It's the outer London boroughs who tend to have more care and nursing home beds than inner London boroughs. Hackney, for example has very few beds .
I don't know if this map includes these deaths.

Of the 122,347 tests that the government has said were completed on April 30, 27,497 are home tests and 12,872 were sent out to satellite sites. This suggests that just 81,978 of the tests were actually processed.
Experts have told Full Fact of their concerns that the home tests may not provide results when they are processed, with one saying that “significant numbers” of the tests are likely to be “void or unsatisfactory”.
Additionally, the latest figures show 73,191 individual people were tested yesterday, meaning some of the 122,347 tests are likely to have been multiple tests of the same individual.

Wonder if Hermes or Yodel are the couriers in which case you can cross this off the list.
That´s a comforting read.
