And thirdly if you want these Kore wheels make me an offer.
-
• #28
Might just hunt for a rear only to keep costs down now that I've got the front wheel. Once the things built and I have some money I'll check with you again on those

They're wide and shod with tyres...

• #30
True, true.

Ok, forks and seatpost ordered, finally.
Think I'm going for a Tune headset, probably.
With that I'm maybe a seat clamp and pedals away from a complete bike, in bits.

Did I completely miss the 'what tyre?' discussion :-(

Twisted PC?
I've got a box and kore seat clamp?
-
• #41
Nah I'm just going to go with whatever maxxis or schwalbe is recommended in the mtb thread
Also maybe the wheels I'm getting have tyres on the, I forget 😅
-
• #42
Are you saying you have some twisted PC for me? I do like them if you're not grinding
Let's see these clamps then
-
• #44
Twisted PC & Nike 6.0 were a very grippy combo back in the day.
Let's see these clamps then
I've already done my hours exercise.

You just brought back memories of footjamming in my 6.0 I.Ds, custom colours!
I've actually just gone back to plastic pedals
-
• #46
will you be riding flats?
-
• #47
I should probably start on flats, I want to feel out manuals, jumps and cornering before I decide on clipless or not
-
• #48
Take it from me, it takes a lot more effort to get a manual going on a mountain bike than it does a BMX.
-
• #49
I'll have you know I'm pretty good at manuals
Made sure I can manual big bikes and wheelie bmx bikes, wheelie on a bmx is just painful though, and looks like a chicken taking flight

I forget
They do
I've got some basic 4 pots going onto the cargo bike so just gonna stick with the saint brakes. They'll match the mech nicely as well
