I managed to get a half decent one from Scan last week, still going to be a week or so to delivery, but better than most.
I really don't get the fascination with seeing peoples face on these calls, I have worked from home for the last 8 years and have never put my face on screen, but now everyone is asking us to turn the webcams on, means I have to wear a shirt!
If you're really in a pinch you could get a tool to convert the signal of a regular camera with hdmi output and trick your computer into thinking it's a webcam.
Blackmagic do some good ones (web presenter and atem mini range are the ones to look at but ultrastudio range will also work, albeit in a different way).
They range in costs from about 130 - 650. There will inevitably be cheaper equivalents or secondhand units on eBay. Your video quality will also shit on everyone else's.
