Lacquered it and haven’t rebuilt yet as I want to give it all plenty time to cure.

Here’s the full frame (pre lacquer).

Not sure how resilient it’ll be. I scraped the paint off the stainless headbadge and stuff and it came off pretty easily but that was when it was really fresh. Hopefully it’s hardened up a bit now.

Wild crackle effect! Is there more or less paint on the bits that have crackled the most?

I think more of the blue paint = heavier crackle.

It says you can reapply after 5 min for a more crackled effect but I think the ‘best’ bits are where I laid it on thick first time.
