Lacquered it and haven’t rebuilt yet as I want to give it all plenty time to cure.
Here’s the full frame (pre lacquer).
Not sure how resilient it’ll be. I scraped the paint off the stainless headbadge and stuff and it came off pretty easily but that was when it was really fresh. Hopefully it’s hardened up a bit now.

Stripped it down as soon as I got home from that and have now painted it. The effect is a bit inconsistent but I’m happy with the results...
