I'm getting bored with cotter pins.
A suggestion for today's 10 minute challenge, and possibly a longer study tomorrow :
A small hand tool.(back in 10 minutes)

No idea, I'm posting smallish images straight to the forum.
I used to use flickr before it went psycho with space limits/ads/and changed the licensing. -

Amazing subject, where did you get them?
Also nice drawing, flints a bugger to draw. I did a series of sketches of flint churches a long time ago, whenever details were needed I would struggle with giving the flint any feel. -

Ah, I pick them up around here (edge of the Chilterns) all the time. Have dozens of all shapes and sizes, must have been a hive of activity hereabouts for thousands of years!

I've been saving .jpg files on a laptop and uploading directly from there - but then I habitually resort to computer skills from a previous century.
Some issues arise with random rotation, but that can be dealt with when I (try to) sort the white balance. -

30 min. version of a small hand tool.
V. impressed with the idea of a flint tool collection - clearly beats 1950s ignition spanners!

Awesome drawing @youramericanlover - keep going and you'll be back to drawing by feel in no time and I'm sure the abstract stuff will follow. I used to live and breathe it then took a big break and now fit it in where I can but I have an existential crisis everytime I start again haha
Charcoal is my preferred medium, there's this great stuff, it's like conte but softer and so dark like dried paint stick and so fun to draw with! And for the thread - here is my painting from yesterday which was not 10 mins but the outlined drawing to get the overall shape was.
Keep drawing - some great sketches on here!
