A) I'll be building it myself
B) It'll cost quite a bit less even than the Pace

I wanted to use Sram's UDH Universal Derailleur Hanger but it doesn't seem that there are any dropouts utilising it for the hobbyist so far, though I believe Paragon have something up their sleeve.

Mainly interested because of thr rumours of Sram making direct mount derailleurs in the future which would utilise the same dropout as the UDH. However there's probably no point in trying to future proof a mtb as they're becoming outdated so quickly these days

I think I'd be tempted to just copy a Santa Cruz Chameleon. MTBs normally have gussets and braces and things like that, are you doing anything to cope with the extra forces compared to a road bike?
