Longer axle length pedals?

I noticed all my cranks have a fair amount of foot rub and was pondering options for my wide feet. Cleats are already all the way back so no adjustment left there. I am invested in 25 years of muscle memory with SPDs so a change in systems is not on the cards. Not interested in flats either as ideally I can find a solution that works off road and on.

Google is not giving much for options really. Do any of the non-Shimano SPD pedal makers offer longer axles? Or am I missing an option?

I can't vouch for this specific product, but axle extenders along these lines are pretty widely available:

Crank bros do IIRC.

Edit: uh, see you've already spotted those. FWIW Mallets are great pedals.
