Can you connect it to a pc with the charger? Usually a good diagnostic.

Perhaps, I’ve got a Mac and it’s an external battery/charger - how do I plug it into a computer?

If it’s not one of the chargers that is powered by USB it may be a trip to a bike shop, buying online or asking around on here. Tbh it’s entirely possible to get the software running on virtual box on a Mac but it’s an arse ache so if you can borrow a windows machine, do that.
