7 days mine took the other week but they've sorted out their packaging process and their delivery company has dealt with a backlog or something so they're supposed to be speeding up again.

I want a whole load of Belgian beers I think, including more Westmalle.
This is never a bad idea.

I can recommend the Beerhawk Abbey/Trappist cases. I've ordered a couple of those in the past and have had a slightly different mix (and a different glass!) each time, all good.
My bag-in-a-box of dark mild arrives tomorrow, so will have to get cracking on that.

This look like a good selection?

@Thrustvector - the Trappist selection is soldout, and I’ve signed up for a notification - thanks for the tip!

I have too many glasses already so I tend to pick and choose from beersofeurope (long time ago now) or the newer players like eebria, beerhawk, etc. Bigger Waitrose stores have had a decent Belgian selection too.

Bosteels Limited Edition 2018
Hoegaarden
Westmalle Dubbel

Trappist Achel BruinOther than the Hoe and the kriek they're all ok. I've gone off Belgian saisons a bit so tend to hit the bigger blondes and brunes. Love me a Tripel K too.

Not really a complaint, just not sure it's worth the faff. Do feel a bit lied to when my 4% "craft" larger tastes like every other lager - which you can pick up for less from any shop, just without the fancy can artwork.
I'm also not sure where I'm at with all the mail order stuff during lockdown. I'm not sure I want to be encouraging lots of mail order companies and their couriers to have to deal with even higher volumes than normal - making social distancing challenging for their employees.
I'm in the supermarket shopping for a family of four at least once week, so easy to get beer as needed. Grabbed a couple of four packs of Thornbridge Jaipur for £5 from Sainsburys the other day. Nicer beer than anything Flavourly ever sent my way, and still indirectly supports a great brewery.

Yeah - I order infrequently enough that the extra glasses keep up with the natural wastage of breakages, but £40 for 12 Trappist beers is pretty good value anyhow. Had forgotten about beersofeurope - will have to check them out.

Bbe Aug 2018...
Mellow and matches the fruity/malty label description. Iirc it was dirt cheap at B&M so I now regret only buying 1 at the time.

Deya Magazine is very good for 'session' ipa. Even the missus, of 'tastes like vomit' fame, likes it.
Steady Rolling Man.. -

Cheers, I did notice that some of the boxes didn't have great reviews.
As others have said, it's really just a convenient stocking up whilst I'm at home and steering clear of the shops. Just before this all kicked off I ordered loads of stouts and porters so I wouldn't mind a few average pale ales.

Top lockdown tip... add a splash of single Malt to a strong ale like Old Tom for that barrel aged effect.

Rolling Man still good from the can. Something Good also nice.

Like a Depth Charge. Let's call it a Congestion Charge coz only muppets paying a Congestion Charge would pour their single malts into their beer :D
I prefer the boiler maker.. whisky with a beer chaser or vice versa.

Agree they're a bit safe, but none are bad. Simcoe Small is very good.

Ginger Tom at selected B&M too!

Good call.... bet there's no queuing at B&M either!

• #8321
You've not gone through all the pubs relieving them of their 1.5L bottles of Bells then?
-
• #8322
That'll be after we run out of single malt...

My local Goregous Brewery are doing 24 bottle cases of Gyrocopter for £40 and other beers for £50 delivered which seems like a pretty good deal to me

Brewdog x Evil Twin Roaster Coaster Vietnamese nitro coffee stout in Tesco is seriously good value for the peas
Same, I keep my eye on different online beer stores and breweries and put orders in all the time.
Previously I'd just pop to Waitrose and get a few jazzy beers, but since that's not an option anymore I'm getting them shipped to my doorstep.
It's quite a revelation really.
