Priti's probably volunteered to euthanise pensioners by clubbing them like seals then chucking them in a furnace while still breathing.

Have you got a link, that sounds insane.

There's nothing to gain from telling the truth if he is indeed on a ventilator and unconscious.

Some might think you are a little unkind.
Could she not sneer them to death? -

We have wards with respiratory support, dedicated high dependency respiratory wards, high dependency units and then you get to go to intensive care. No-one gets to ICU “just in case”

Spoke to a mate in Spain today. They are putting some of the high death down to the high percentage of smokers in the population. The cheapest cigarettes in Europe by all account.
Austria is a complete contradiction of that theory.

Wishing death or illness on anyone reveals a basic lack of human decency.

Email from HSBC I just received:
I am writing to update you on the latest support available to help you through these challenging times, during which we are continuing to listen to your feedback and developing tools to help you manage the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
As previously announced, mortgage payment holidays are now available for our customers whose finances are impacted. I’m pleased to confirm that we are also able to offer personal loan customers the option to defer three monthly payments, as well as payment holidays for credit card customers. None of these solutions pose a risk to your credit rating - information on them is detailed below.
We have also announced additional temporary support for eligible overdraft customers, in addition to your existing interest-free buffer of £500, we’ll temporarily lower interest to 11.9% EAR above this amount for your arranged overdraft.

Wondering the same thing as I can't stand up that 150 figure.

They are the party that presided over an ill-judged and possibly disasterous "herd immunity" policy based off their pet right-wing crank, and then boasted about their gung-ho inability to follow PHE advice, coughing at the bench, no social distancing at meetings...
Pointing out the irony that the majority of their party is now succumbing to this illness as a result of their own blind ideology and bluster is not the same as wishing death or illness upon them, you pious twunt.

If they had said BJ is in “under observation in hospital” it would be a totally different scenario. We run follow up outpatient clinics for patients who been to ICU and come out the other side as it is so fucking traumatic on a physical and psychological level.

I had just read a Guardian article on it making a story out of it and had that in mind. Strikes me as the Guardian looking for an angle for a story rather than anything else.

I heard 50/50 on survival in ICU. Sad times.

@dubtap- the definition of Intensive/Critical Care is loose and often includes all of those respiratory units.
https://www.bfwh.nhs.uk/our-services/hospital-services/critical-care/levels-of-care/So- given that we're on the receiving end of a chinese whisper- I would not be surprised if Intensive Care ==Critical Care, and represented a HDU setting.
Equally, I would not be surprised if it was a true Intensive Care Unit. -

You do public sector data, no? You should be well aware of the utter fucking stupidity of posting what you did. Violating patient privilege would you get you out on your arse anywhere at any org. Wind your neck in and fucking have a think about how fucking lucky you are to have a job.

telling people that they can't express themselves through whatever colourful verbiage they see fit is shockingly indecent of you, old chap.

This is quite a shocking development. Especially after the NHS stats on 50% of people in ICU surviving.
The Guardian also says "The prime minister is understood to be conscious and to have been moved as a precaution in case he needs ventilation."
