Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Which seams?
I rode mine through TCR and they were great, so much so considering another pair in the sale...

Can't say they've ever bothered me but IMO they're the best bibs Rapha have made.

I have been quite fond of my Rapha hoodie. I am looking for a loose fit alternative for mtb riding. Any good windbreaker hoodies out there for big boyz that allows for a couple of layers of merino underneath?

Here’s the comparison between the classic bibs and the cargo bibs... particularly across the top of the thigh. Did you not find the seams rubbed at all? Same to @jakemcree.

Given the price, don’t want to wear them and find I don’t get on with them!

I’ll check mine are the same, in a bit, but had no issue with them. Also lost a few Kgs on the ride as you might expect and whilst looser at the end still no issues.

No, have never noticed the seams rubbing at all.

Never had any issues with the seams on mine, ridden them thousands of miles.

I have ridden maybe 1000 miles in mine with no rubbing. My thighs seem to have lost some weight though, so they are slightly baggy just above my knees. Perfect with leg warmers.

Well, it looks like the consensus is that they aren’t an issue. Guess I’ll be trying them out!

Anyone tried their gloves?

I can't really tell the difference between the classic and explore gloves, beside the fact the classic have a leather palm.

I'm looking for an autumn/mild winter glove which is not too thick, and fairly nice to look at.

I have a lot (a lot) of rapha stuff and am a big fan, but for gloves for autumn / winter I’m going to break with the thread topic and say I can’t recommend Castelli highly enough tbh - the perfetto ros gloves are pretty amazing.

Ps anyone tried the new pro team training jersey (the one that makes it look like you’re wearing a gilet) - is the sizing true to normal pro team jerseys?
