    Looks nice when you wheel it out of the shop?

    TBF my Criterium has anno'd rims, and as I only ever ride it when it's bone dry they've stayed fine. I've also not ridden it very much.

    i was just wondering as i have a nice pair of arayas on shimano DX hubs at home which have max been ridden 100miles within 30 years and they already look like shit

  • Honestly, I don't know, maybe a budget issue, cheaper to paint n leave, rather than machine the brake track afterwards?
