Such an odd frame. What is it for exactly?
Nice though.

• #62230
Yeah, it is weird. Have those track drop outs been added later?

Don't tell anyone, it's on my list as a way to handle my growing addiction with coupled/packable bikes.
-
• #62234
My apologies. It's gone.
-
• #62235
Thanks, but to be honest me wanting for a second s&s-coupled bike makes me feel like a toilet paper hoarder so if anyone wants some reasonably priced, albeit niche cycling hardware go for it! The Sterling has also not taken such a hard beating vs CAD as the dimiscule swedish crown so there's that.
Sorry for derail! -

that ti Mongoose I posted a while ago has leapt up in price, from £800 to £1500! The new photos must have set him back a bit....

Absolutely bonkers Bob Jackson trike with its two wheels on the front (?!) in Acton.
The steering set-up looks a bit Mr Bean and the whole thing looks like a somewhat bodged conversion but it's only £250...

Always wished I had the room/more importantly, the use for a trike.

• #62243
That looks fucking sweet!

I wonder if any of you impressively knowledgeable lot could help a complete and utter noob who is in urgent need of some wheels in order to get to work..
Do either of these look like good deals? And if so, which would you recommend?
[Raleigh] for £135(https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Raleigh-Fixed-Gear-Conversion-Fixie-Single-Speed/173849131525?hash=item287a373a05:g:bMAAAOSwHWtcl63M&autorefresh=true)
[Nologo] for £75 (https://www.gumtree.com/p/bicycles/fix-geared-bicycle-for-sale/1370177341)
Thanks a million in advance!

There’s a fair bit of that trike which wasn’t built by Bob Jackson, that’s for sure.
-
• #62246
Was just checking this out, and then I heard a little "you're not getting any more bikes", normally I wouldn't care but it's hardly a bargain, and I don't actually need a bike that I'm never going to ride sat in my living room.
-
• #62247
Neither are great. Check the classifieds, you’ll get a lot better off here for the money.

cheers Tonts. I've kept an eye out but most things are usually higher spec + value than I what someone at my level should aim for. lots of amazing hardware, though.
-
• #62249
Fairly sure thats just a normal frame with a trike kit bolted on (I think the trike kit is a consumer product, not heath robinson DIY)
Worth a look if the frame is your size (looks tiny). I'm sure some nutter would buy the trike gubbins. Must be very rare.
Bars must be worth a bit. Assuming they're Scott Drop-in 2s
He might even have the original forks knocking about.
Might be a Carradice on the front too.

Start a wanted thread. Let people know your approx budget and what you're looking at. Plus size, location etc...
Lots of people will have stuff sitting around.

Isnt this a forum bike? If not it should be
