I did try them with mini vs. Had too much shudder and only just had mudguard clearance at the front. Deore V brakes worked much better..
The mini-v does have problem with juddering, as well as high squealing, which I'm not entirely sure why that is the case, however Shimano Mini-V made a difference compare to the entry level Tektro Mini-V.
I assume you are referring to the Decathlon bike. Don't you think there's a bit of Gravel Tax in it's pricing?
Dunno, £500 is pretty good for an entry level gravel bike that doesn't required expensive componentry to maintain (10 speed stuff can be found cheap as chip, especially through Decathlon).
Oh those v brake specific one? I find it work a lots better with mini v making it feel nearly as sharp as cantilever.
