Some interesting stuff on that guy's channel. The washing machine motor bike is good.

Seen in the wild. Crap photo because it was starting to rain and my baby was starting to cry in the pram. Also the guy was still around, I watched him lock it up and loitered to grab the pic so there's every chance he was suspicious of me.

looks pretty safe! 🤔

Well, less desirable to thieves maybe?

I found it very desirable. So much so I loitered.

Rack VS Brake VS Mudguard fixment.
Should probably spray it pink

The Barcelona lockdown has called for some interesting innovation to help combat the isolation. We are not even able to go out for exercise and were coming to the end of week 3 now. This was my mates latest pallet project.

spin to win!

yeah he´s been looking into ways of adding some resistance to the set up too, I think he has just adjusted the brakes to add it.
I suggested cutting the end of the broom handle off and placing it in front of the rear wheel, if he notched out some of the front bracing plank for it to sit in. -

Put a block under the front wheel, then you're cycling uphill

Or a brick under one side of the pallet to ride in a velodrome.

Made a small adapter block to attach TT bars directly to Salsa handlebar bag thing. Not perfect, and I’d love to able to do it on a mill. If the first test goes well maybe i’ll ask a colleague to make a neater / safer version.

Not mine. But using a seat post clamp as an emergency spoke key...
-
• #1373
Tsk, not a tester approved clamp but still pretty clever.

Another use for an old seat clamp: tap wrench. Spotted in a Cambodian factory.

better than the dogshit tap holder that came with my set
Can’t claim as my own bodge / hack because I saw this on the Blue Lug blog, but using the domed washers from canti or v-brake pads to be able to angle light brackets and racks etc.
https://bluelug.com/blog/kamiuma/116066/
I’ve used them before to space out front racks but I’ve never though to use them to angle a bracket.
