Could someone please remind me where the cheap Chinese cycling lens place is? I'm gonna pick up a pair of Jawbreakers or similar but gonna need prescription lenses...

As I'm home all the time I'm not wearing contacts so thought I should get some new glasses. My prescription is fairly high so I need the ultra thin lenses which normally adds a hefty premium to the price.
Any suggestions for sites that are pretty cheap for the ultra thin lenses? They're only for wearing at home so I'm not too fussed by range of frames

I got some old ray bans reglazed by reglaze-glasses-direct . com
You can do a price estimate for reglazes
(Only good if you have frames kicking about)SelectSpecs were cheap when I bought a couple of pairs a few years ago, but I only have regular or slightly thinner as my prescription is ~+3.5

The shiny acetate they normally use for frames just doesn't look right on my mug.
Who can suggest some decent brands making frames in matte materials? -

Cubitts do matte frames I think

Aye, they do indeed

Mr. Leight, anyone on here that owns a pair?

I recently had a par of glasses reglazed by http://www.reglaze-glasses-direct.com/ and they sent me a 10% discount code EC1DDE843051E8E7, one use only, valid until 16 Feb 2021.
I have no use for it, so have at it.

site broken? Can't see any frames

I think they're doing a new collection launch and have most of it offline at the moment but if you go on the IG page they have a shop section there to see them.

Does anyone have a recommended source for contact lenses? I've never used any, however want to have the option for sports/work etc.
any advice appreciated!

Go get a fitting at a shop if you can and then order either in the shop or online. Shops make fuck all on contact lenses and you can always get them cheaper online if yiu know the one that suits you and is comfy.

thanks

I tried like 3 different types and just order the ones that were most comfortable. Sometimes your prescription is slightly diffnewt too as they obvs sit in your eye so there is a bit more room for Leeway

The online places seem much of a muchness. I tend to use feelgoodcontacts but have used lenstore and some other in the past.
Fgc have their own brand, comfi, that I now use without issue (especially for the last year where I haven’t worn them all day for commute, work, commute+RP laps, etc)
Think they’re all euro based though so not sure if the service has changed since Jan

How important is ‘addition’ on a glasses prescription? Mine is 1.00 but the company I am buying my new glasses from reckon they can’t do it because they only do single vision glasses

Any re-glazing recommendations? My lenses are scratched to shit, but I quite like my frames and think they have a bit of life in them yet.

Everyday sunglasses for big heads... Any suggestions? I spotted Cubitts do certain styles in wide (will check out soon). Anywhere else?

I've ordered titanium frames, my most expensive ever specs purchase but hoping these last a little longer than the last few pairs.

@Silly_Savage I've used https://www.reglaze-glasses-direct.com/ a few times, good so far

Is there a 'go to' place for eye tests or are all the high street places much of a muchness?
Anyone had Yellow Plus frames? Any feedback on the quality?
