Clutch installed. Bit of a weird issue where the rear belt won't run true and rubs on the spur gear pressure plate. Rebuilt everything about five times and have minimised it. But annoying.

Going to remove the body posts, no need for them when you can run full velcro around the chassis.

Will it square up when you put the belt/gear cover on? Clutching at straws!

No. I’m hoping after it beds in it will sort itself :)

After much procrastination I have ordered the iridescent pink and gold paint for my Racing Fighter.
Also got re-enforced M Parts and carbon shock mounts as well as ball bearings for when I do actually build it. (Soon as I've finished my Lego 911 now)

We're looking at getting a kit Tamiya buggy for isolation. Tempted by the Neo Soarcher or is there a better recommendation?

Re issues of the Frog/ grasshopper, etc are nostalgic fun, but not as good as the more recent stuff.

Lunchbox often gets mentioned as a robust kit for fun and cheaps.

Egress or Avante if you want something that takes ages to build and paint! Obvs a bit of a wallet emptyer

Unplugged and soldered on to a TBLE-02 with wires cut to size for the DB01.

They are so handy eh! I don’t have them on mine so put in inline bullet connectors

Yeah they are super nice! Makes you wonder why they stick the horrible stock inline motor connections on them too.

It's for advancing the timing.

I've only really used silver cans, so this is new to me - what does 'advancing the timing' mean? what happens to the car if it's turned one way vs the other?
